Transmisja Koncertu Noworocznego z Wiednia. Tradycyjnie 1 stycznia w Złotej Sali Wiedeńskiego Towarzystwa Muzycznego (Filharmonia Wiedeńska) odbędzie się uroczysty koncert transmitowany przez wiele europejskich rozgłośni radiowych i telewizyjnych.

Koncert Noworoczny w wiedeńskim Musikverein jest piękną tradycją, która gromadzi przed telewizorami widzów na całym świecie. Imponująca Złota Sala, jak co roku wypełni się radosnymi polkami i walcami w kunsztownym wykonaniu wiedeńskich filharmoników.

Erstmals wird der kanadische Dirigent Yannick Nézet-Séguin beim Neujahrskonzert am 1. Januar 2026 am Pult der Wiener Philharmoniker im Goldenen Saal des Wiener Musikvereins stehen. Gemeinsam mit Nézet-Séguin versuchen die Wiener Philharmoniker programmatisch auch teils neue Akzente zu setzen, und so werden auch Werke der Komponistinnen Josephine Weinlich und Florence Price erklingen.

Petroc Trelawny presents the traditional New Year’s Day concert live from Vienna. Watched by an audience of millions around the world, the Vienna Philharmonic start the new year in customary fashion at the Golden Hall of the Musikverein in Vienna, bringing their message of hope, friendship and peace. Conducting for the first time is the Canadian-born Yannick Nézet-Séguin, a conductor committed to rarely performed works. The waltzes, gallops and polkas from the Strauss dynasty and their contemporaries take centre stage, but they are heard alongside pieces being performed at the concert for the very first time, including works by Josephine Weinlich and Florence Price.

As always, the concert concludes with the ever-popular By the Beautiful Blue Danube and the foot-stamping Radetsky March

Each year the orchestra presents a fresh programme drawn from the rich repertoire of the Strauss family and their contemporaries, under the baton of some of the most prestigious conductors in classical music. The 2025 edition was led by Riccardo Muti, marking his seventh time at the helm.

Looking ahead, the 2026 concert will take place on Thursday, 1 January 2026 and will be conducted for the first time by Yannick Nézet‑Séguin.
